Congratulations to Will Rogers Memorial Museum - $13 Million Raised!

Congratulations to another happy nonprofit client served by Clemons-Associates - The Will Rogers Memorial Museum in Claremore, OK.

Benefitting from the Together We Will Campaign, the museum enjoys a unique, aesthetic and expansive upgrade via the vision of forward-thinking leaders like Executive Director Tad Jones and his dedicated Board of Directors.

The respective campaign funding adds a new 20,000-square-foot building designed to preserve Will Rogers' legacy and create new opportunities for visitors.

Museum leaders say the three-story addition will be built on the northeast corner of the property. It will include a state-of-the-art collection storage area, new office space and an event center on the top floor with views overlooking Claremore.

“This is the largest expansion since the museum was built in 1938,” said Tad Jones, executive director of the Will Rogers Memorial Museum. “It’s a huge undertaking, and we’re very excited to get started.”

The project will also bring changes to the existing museum, including a new entryway and larger gift shop. Accessibility improvements will also be made throughout the museum to address Americans with Disabilities Act requirements.

Jones says one of the biggest needs is improved space to protect the museum's collection.

Tad Jones and his impressive Board hired the Clemons-Associates team to share best practice tools, give counsel and build a professional campaign. Deliverables included pre-campaign tools (Planning Tool, Gift Pyramid, Gift Table, Top Prospective Donor templates, coaching/consultation for staff and volunteers) as well as campaign collateral/materials including the case for support, brand ID, fly-thru video, dedicated campaign website, solicitation folders, Powerpoint presentation, thank you cards, event invitation, house party best-practice guides and more.
